Christmas ’24 Shima Enaga brooch

MOMO Kanzashi brooches are back.

For this winter it’s finally here the long-tailed tit or Shima enaga, a bird distributed in the island of Hokkaido.

Thanks to its fluffiness and its cuteness it has become a web star.

The design was born on a piece of paper and it took shape thanks to little pieces of hand-dyed silk, decorated with beads and other elements: in this case the little bird perched on a stick with red and orange berries.

All the brooches have been made over the same design but, since they are hand-made, they can be a little different from each other.
