MOMO Kanzashi is the first experience in Italy that employs a two hundred years old Japanese technique to make unique pieces: from hair accessories with traditional motifs, to original designs for important occasions, to home décor.
Natural fibers like silk and cotton, hand dyed and hand molded, are the basis of all creations.
Old kimono, not suitable for wearing due to time and use, are reused and turned into little dolls, ribbons and fabric flowers.
For the U.S. customers: from August 29th, the De minimis extemption for imported goods ended, meaning that imports of any value from outside the U.S. will be charged customs fee, except things labeled as “gift” under the value of 100$. In addition, there would be an extra 15% tariff (or a tariff between 80 and 200$ per item) because my “shop” is located in EU (Italy).
Registered mail is still suspended so the only services available are the private companies. Before placing an order please contact me to see if there is anything we can arrange to amortize the costs.
