2026 Year of the Horse brooch

Happy Year of the Horse!

The design of these brooches is a reprise of the unicorn’s model made in 2023.

To make it happen I took inspiratiom from the samurai’s horses, focusing on the bridles’details in red with small decorative knots. These brooches are made with silk crepe, dyed and hand modeled, decorated with small beads and the bell that marks all the brooches I made dedicated to the Chinese zodiac.

All the brooches are handmade, so, as far as they follow the same pattern, there can be little differences among the piece used for pictures and the one you will receive. It needs to be worn and handled with care.
