The blooming of Nemophila (Beby Blue Eyes) is one of the most famous events at the Hitachi Seaside Park (Ibaraki), where a whole hill is covered in blue in spring, blending the earth with the sky.
For every earring there is a group of three little flowers in habutae silk, decorated by transparent beads.
The pair with golden hooks has some light blue semi-precious stone beads, while the pair with silver hooks has some faceted light blue crystals.
Hooks are in stainless steel.
The fabric has been dyed and hand modeled, petal by petal.
Habutae silk is a Japanese silk with a simple weave, light and delicate, perfect for small elements.
This fabric is used for kimono, and it is one of the main materials used in traditional tsumami zaiku.
Two pairs are available, with golden or silver elements.
