Sakura bows

With these fabrics, found in a shop in Kyoto during my first trip there, it was love at first sight.

Obviously, I cannot leave them there.

Among the items I made with them, there are these bows, very simple but in the right size to get noticed in your hair.

The fabric with cherry blossoms, with an irregular weaving, gives an unique result, something that cannot be reproduced in items made serially.

On the other hand, the cotton of the light blue bow with rabbits is smooth and light.

While the pink bow is made with kimono silk.

Behind every bow there is a barrette or an alligator clip sewn to allow an easy placement of the accessory in the hair.

In the pictures the lower green bow has a barrette, while the upper one has a clip.
