Totoro brooch

Totoro is a good-earthed but mysterious creature in the Studio Ghibli movie “My neighbour Totoro” (となりのトトロTonari no Totoro) and thank to this film it became the main symbol of the Japanese animation studio.

In this small brooch I tried to create a summary of the aspect of Totoro and using two different colors I did Ō-totoro, the big grey Totoro, and Chu-totoro, the smaller blue one.

These two brooches are made of silk and both have a little transparent resin drop over the leaf/umbrella.
